Mumbai: The Zimbabwe series has just ended. Now the next target of the Indian cricket team is Sri Lanka tour (IND vs SL). Experienced all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja returned to the Indian team for the two-match Test series starting from August 15. Summary Jain was part of the Indian ‘A’ team’s tour of the island nation. In the second four-day match of that tour, he played an innings of 70 runs and took six wickets. Saransh has consistently performed for Madhya Pradesh year after year. In 54 first-class matches he scored 2223 runs at an average of 31.75 and took 188 wickets at an average of 27.30. The right-arm spinner essentially bats left-handed, just like Sundar. Since Sundar is not able to play in this series, that is why Saransh was called up to the national team for the first time at the age of 33 as a like-for-like replacement. In the first Test, however, there is a strong possibility of Samantha debuting in a spin-friendly environment.
