How NATO Secretary General Replied Trump: US President Donald Trump has spoken to the NATO organization thoroughly on the issue of Greenland. He even said that if he had not been there, NATO would have become a thing of history. However, now NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has replied to him on this.
Donald Trump- Mark Ruto. Donald Trump is not saying anything about NATO on the issue of Greenland. Sometimes they are threatening and sometimes they are imposing tariffs, as if this organization is running on their strength. Ever since Trump has set his sights on Greenland, he has been after European countries. This is the reason why the French President has opened a front against Trump. Now the Secretary General of NATO has also reminded Donald Trump that this organization is not as useless as he thinks.
In fact, when Donald Trump was in Davos, Switzerland, he met NATO Secretary General Mark Ruto. When both the leaders sat for talks, Mark Ruto was seen for the first time expressing his views very strictly. He responded to Trump’s statement in which Trump had said that if NATO countries face any crisis, America will stand but NATO cannot stand in their times of crisis.
Mark Ruto reminded Afghanistan
Mark Ruto said this in front of Donald Trump that he came to know that he had said that when he needed help, Europe would not come to his help. Taking his point forward on this, Mark Ruto said –
‘Let me tell you that Europe will come in your trouble. He came during the Afghanistan crisis. If every two Americans have paid the price of this war, then one among them was a soldier from NATO countries, who could not return to his home.
NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte to Trump:
One thing I heard you say yesterday and today is that you were not absolutely sure the Europeans would come to the rescue of the US if it were attacked. Let me tell you, they will.
