Washington: US President Donald Trump is in no mood to leave Greenland at any cost. Targeting European countries in several social media posts one after the other, he has made it clear that peace can be maintained only through force. Posting on Truth Social, Trump said that Greenland is extremely important for national and global security. Trump described America as the most powerful country in the world. He said that peace can be maintained in the world only through strength and only America has this capability.

Trump wrote in his social media post – ‘I had a very good telephone conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte about Greenland. I agreed to a meeting of different parties in Davos, Switzerland. As I told everyone very clearly, Greenland is very important for national and world security. Now there is no question of retreat, everyone agrees on this.

Donald Trump also shared a screenshot of a chat, in which Mark Rutte is praising America’s efforts for Syria and Gaza. They are saying- ‘What you did in Syria is unbelievable. I will highlight your work in Gaza and Ukraine through the media in Davos. I am committed to finding a way forward on Greenland. Looking forward to meeting you.

Trump shared the messages of NATO Secretary General.

Along with this, he also shared a screenshot of the text message of French President Emmanuel Macron. In this, Macron has praised the American efforts regarding Syria and Iran and has talked about talking together on Greenland. In this, calling Trump his friend, the French President has written – ‘We completely agree on Syria, we can do a lot on Iran, but I do not understand what you are doing on Greenland?’
