Besides, the woman had an Aarti in her throat saying ‘help-help’ and her incident as a threat to the star cricketer’s safety has reached its peak. The clip, shared on social media, shows a woman walking past the security forces to Rohit, who is shocked by the incident.
The woman later revealed that she went to the former India captain for her daughter His daughter, who is suffering from a serious illness, needs an injection at a cost of Rs 9 crore.
In the video clip, the woman said, “My name is Sarita Sharma. My daughter Anika is suffering from a serious illness, and to save her we need an injection which costs Rs 9 crore and has to be imported from America.” He added, “We are organizing small camps to collect funds, and so far we have managed to collect Rs 4.1 crore. We are running out of time.”

The lady who was pulling Rohit’s hand added, “Yesterday, during the India-New Zealand match, we tried to contact the cricketers hoping to get some help. We also set up a donation camp during the match, but it was not enough. I was trying to meet Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, because they help children. Desperate to save my child, I went to the hotel where Rohit Sharma was staying. Overwhelmed with emotion. I finally got hold of his hand.”
The woman has apologized for her actions.
“I want to appeal to Virat sir and Rohit sir. You may not know what I was trying to do. I am not there to take a selfie; I just want to save my child’s life,” he concluded. “I also want to apologize to the authorities for my actions. I didn’t know what else to do. I request Virat and Rohit if they get my message, please help me.”
