US Chinook Aircraft Damaged in Venezuela: Recently, America attacked Venezuela and imprisoned its President Nicolas Maduro. America had taken this action in the name of drug smuggling but America’s Delta Force had arrived in the dark of night to take Maduro away. There were about 150 aircraft in this entire force, one of which was the aircraft which the Venezuelan forces were successful in destroying. This is the same Chinook helicopter, which India has purchased from America.

Chinook is counted among some of the most powerful and reliable military transport helicopters in the world, which has been developed by America’s Boeing Company. America has been using it in its military operations and its capability has also been proven. However, this helicopter betrayed America in the action against Venezuela. Instead of proving effective for them, it came as a burden. Even though the US Army did not suffer much loss in this campaign, the MH-47 Chinook became like a stain.

MH-47 Chinook could not stand against Venezuelan Army

As part of America’s special operation, forces had gone to arrest Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. It also included a heavy twin rotor MH-47 Chinook helicopter in the fleet of army helicopters. According to the New York Times report, Chinook was significantly damaged in the Venezuelan fire during the arrest of Nicolas Maduro. Even the pilot sitting inside was shot three times but he did not stop flying. There was definitely a fault in the plane but it remained there during the military operation and also reached America safely. General Dan Kane, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said that sometimes even the best aircraft betray during operations.

India has also acquired Chinook helicopter.
