More profit can be earned through animal husbandry at less cost. In view of the increasing demand for milk in the markets, youth in rural areas are getting attracted towards dairy farming. In such a situation, grants are also being given to the farmers so that farmers can easily earn lakhs of rupees by doing animal husbandry through grants.
At the same time, the biggest problem is the care and maintenance of animals. Animals start falling ill during winter and rainy season, due to which if they are not treated properly, they may even die. In such a situation, you will also suffer financial loss and the biggest problem in cows and buffaloes is foot and mouth.

These are the symptoms
Foot-and-mouth disease occurs in the feet of cows, buffaloes and horses. There are wounds between the hooves, limping, and difficulty in eating and drinking, due to which the animal becomes lethargic. Symptoms start appearing within 3 to 7 days of the virus entering the body. The risk of disease increases due to cattle standing in water. In animals, high fever, mouth sores, not eating fodder and rashes on the skin can be symptoms of foot and mouth.
Vaccination will be free
Giving information, CVO Dr. Dinesh Kumar Sachan said that teams have been formed in the blocks, which will vaccinate animals door-to-door. There are total 15 blocks in Kheri district. This campaign will run continuously for 45 days. At the same time, the vaccination campaign will be concluded on March 10. Three teams have been formed in each development block and vaccination will be done free of cost. This time 6.98 lakh animals will be vaccinated in the district, which will provide relief from diseases like foot and mouth diseases.
