In this firing, four people including an Indian citizen died on the spot. However, amidst this horrifying scene, the bravery of a 12 year old innocent boy saved many more lives. When the gunfire started, there were three children inside the house, ages 7, 10 and 12. Seeing death in front of them, the three children hid in a cupboard. The eldest of these children, who was 12 years old, instead of panicking, showed wisdom and called the emergency number 911 from there. Due to which the police reached the spot within a few minutes and the lives of 3 children were saved. All three children have been rescued safely and are currently in the care of a relative.
Gwinnett County Police has arrested the accused Vijay Kumar and he is being interrogated. Police have admitted that due to the child’s wisdom, more lives were saved.
