India US Relations: There was already tension in the relations between India and America, but recently America’s MP Lindsey Graham has proposed a bill due to which the tariff on India can increase to 500 percent. The American businessman warned that the timing and scale of the move could undermine ongoing trade talks between New Delhi and Washington. Ashok Mago, Founder Chairman of Greater Dallas Indo American Chamber, said in a special conversation with IANS that the Greater Dallas Indo American Chamber is now known as the US-India Chamber of Commerce. Mago argued that senators should allow negotiations to reach a conclusion before increasing pressure. He said that 500 percent tariff on India is not a very good idea.
