Within a few days, he felt that his stomach was becoming lighter and food was being digested more quickly. The catechins and antioxidants present in green tea help in improving the digestion process, due to which the problem of gas and bloating gradually reduces.

After about a month, Rita noticed another major change. His weight gradually started coming under control without any strict diet or exercise. Actually, drinking green tea after dinner gives a slight boost to metabolism, due to which the body keeps burning calories even while sleeping. Rita said that earlier her weight used to increase easily, now it started remaining stable and a difference was also visible in the belly fat.

But when he gave up heavy sweets or sweet tea after dinner and opted for green tea, his body started feeling more relaxed. However, he took care not to drink green tea just before sleeping, because the caffeine present in it can affect sleep. Green tea taken at the right time helped in deepening his sleep.

Within a few weeks, Rita also noticed changes in her skin. The slight lethargy and dullness that was earlier present on the face started reducing. The anti-oxidants present in green tea help in removing toxins from the body, due to which the skin starts looking clean and fresh. Also, pimples and small breakouts also gradually started reducing. However, Rita also learned that like everything else, green tea consumption should also be in balance. She did not drink more than 1 to 2 cups of green tea a day and avoided drinking it on an empty stomach or very late at night. Green tea taken at the right time and in the right quantity had a positive effect on his body.
