Questions are looming over the form of India’s veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja ahead of the final and deciding match of the series against New Zealand. But whatever the critics say, Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj said with confidence that Ravindra Jadeja will return to his form very soon. According to him, just one wicket is enough for Jadeja to return to his old form in the third and final ODI against New Zealand on Sunday.

In the current series, Jadeja was wicketless in the first two ODIs. In the first match he scored 44 runs and did not get a wicket in the second match too despite spending 56 runs. Earlier in the three-match home series against South Africa, he had just one wicket in his possession. But according to Siraj, there is nothing to worry about.

In the pre-match press conference, Siraj said that there is no concern in the team about Jadeja’s form. He said, once he gets a breakthrough, Jadeja will again be seen as a formidable bowler as before. It may be noted that Jadeja’s ODI career record is very rich – he has nearly 2,900 runs and 232 wickets in 209 matches.

Also, Siraj said the Indian bowling unit is confident despite the defeat in the second ODI. He said, the result of the match changes when some simple catches are missed. However, he feels that the batting innings of KL Rahul and Nitish Reddy is a positive aspect for the team.
