Now, if President Donald Trump is unable to give clarification, he is directly attacking the Democratic government of the state. He called this incident a coverup to hide corruption. Trump alleged that local leaders were creating obstacles in the work of federal officials. The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Alex Pretty. He was a resident of Minneapolis and an American citizen.

He shared a picture of a gun and wrote that this area is a stronghold of Democrats, where federal agencies are not allowed to work. Trump claimed that local authorities deliberately withdrew the police, leaving ICE agents alone.

Trump said the agents had no choice but to protect themselves. He accused city and state leaders of denying help to federal officials. Along with this, Trump also accused the leaders of Minnesota of corruption on a large scale. Taking the name of MP Ilhan Omar, he said that billions of dollars have gone missing from the state.

Vice President JD Vance defended the federal action, saying immigration officials had come to do their job and were being blocked by state leadership.
