Fever with rash due to changing weather
Talking to Local 18, Dr. Suman Kumar Gupta, pediatrician of Kesari Raj Hospital, said that due to change in weather, rashes have started appearing on the body along with fever in small children. According to Dr. Gupta, the two main causes of these rashes are chicken pox and measles. In chicken pox, the rash starts from the face and gradually spreads over the entire body and consists of small water-filled bubbles. Whereas in measles the rashes are thin and mainly on the chest. Only with correct identification is treatment possible and the safety of children can be ensured.
Small carelessness leads to brain fever
This seasonal disease of fever and body rash in children is caused by a viral disease. If someone in the family gets infected, keep him/her isolated, wear a mask on the face and use hand sanitizer from time to time. Drink enough water because drinking more water reduces viral fever quickly. The initial symptoms of the disease are high fever and rash on the body. If not taken care of on time, it can cause serious complications like difficulty in breathing, pneumonia or meningitis.
Disease occurring in children aged between 9 months to 15 years
Vaccination has been arranged by the government to prevent diseases like chicken pox and measles which cause body rash along with viral fever in children and adults. Vaccination for measles is given at the age of 9 months and 15 months. Chicken pox can happen to a person of any age. It is very important to maintain distance from the infected person because they can infect others until they recover completely. Treatment and medicines are available in private and government hospitals.
