Mumbai: In the 19th match of the Women’s Premier League 2026, Gujarat Giants and Mumbai Indians faced each other at the BCA Stadium in Vadodara. Gujarat won the match by 11 runs and qualified for the play-offs. With this, Gujarat became the second team to reach the playoffs.

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore directly qualified for the finals. In the run chase for Mumbai, Harmanpreet Kaur scored an unbeaten 82 off 48 balls with 8 fours and 4 sixes, but her innings could not lead to victory.

Despite the loss, Mumbai still have a chance of making it to the playoffs. Mumbai have played all their league matches. Now the team will have to rely on the last league match of the tournament, which will be played between Delhi Capitals and UP Warriors on Sunday, February 1.
