India-Venezuela Oil Purchase: US President Donald Trump has announced on Saturday that India will now buy oil from Venezuela instead of Iranian crude oil. His statement is being seen as a sign of possible changes in global energy trade, because America is putting pressure on big oil importing countries to change their sources. However, the Indian government has neither given any statement in this regard nor confirmed this.

Trump said- ‘China’s arrival is welcome and it can make a good deal on oil. We welcome China. We have already reached an agreement. India is also coming forward and instead of buying oil from Iran, it will buy Venezuelan oil. US President Donald Trump has said that such an agreement in principle has already been reached. Trump said this while talking to reporters while going from Washington DC to Florida.
