3. Never again will the ICC organize an event- If Pakistan does not play against India in the 2026 World Cup, the ICC may disqualify them from hosting any major tournament in the future. The hosting of Champions Trophy 2025 is already surrounded by controversy. On top of that, Pakistan’s decision can put them in great danger.

ICC rules under which an investigation may be instituted-
