While participating in the ‘Happy Sad Confused’ podcast, Kate recalled the period of shooting and release of the film. She tells that at that time she was just starting her career, but the media and people had made various comments about her character and personal life, due to which she became quite disappointed. According to her, she was body-shamed a lot for the film.

Kate held her breath underwater for seven minutes and 15 seconds for the shooting of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’. This film has been released in theaters worldwide on 16 December.
