One of the team’s star batsman Tilak Verma has fully recovered after the surgery. In January, he had to undergo testicular surgery due to an injury sustained during a Ranji Trophy match. He then regained full fitness through a rehabilitation process at the BCCI Center of Excellence in Bengaluru. The medical team has given him fitness clearance, so now he is ready to play for the team.
India’s squad includes many IPL stars and young players who have excelled in domestic cricket. The team includes Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya, Indian T20 debutant Mayank Yadav, Bipraj Nigam and Ryan Parag. Also some other young players got chance in the team, who are important for the future of Indian cricket.
Team India will first take on the USA at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Monday. They will then play a match against Namibia at the Bengaluru Center of Excellence on Friday. These warm-up matches are important for testing the players’ form.
