T20 World Cup 2026 will run from February 7 to March 8. India and Sri Lanka are the host countries. This tournament will be held in total eight venues. Matches will be played at five venues in India, while three stadiums in Sri Lanka will host T20 World Cup 2026 matches.

A total of 20 teams are participating in the T20 World Cup for the first time. These teams are divided into 5 groups. Group for T20 World Cup 2026-

Group-B: Sri Lanka, Australia, Zimbabwe, Oman, Ireland
Group-C: England, West Indies, Scotland, Italy, Nepal
Group-D: Afghanistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, United Arab Emirates

‘Group of Death’

Group D is considered to be the toughest group in T20 World Cup 2026. This group includes Afghanistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada and United Arab Emirates. Afghanistan, New Zealand and South Africa are likely to witness intense battles. Only two teams will make it to the Super-8 stage, so a single loss could derail the World Cup dream.
