The leaves of desi Neem are small in size, extremely bitter in taste and full of medicinal properties, whereas Ayurvedic properties are found to be relatively less in the larger leaf Neem.

It also proves effective in preventing skin diseases, stomach problems and infections. However, he also clarified that eating neem leaves in excess quantity can cause harm, hence one should not consume it in excess without doctor’s advice.
How much quantity of neem leaves to take in the morning?
According to Ayurvedic doctor, 8 to 10 local Neem shoots or leaves taken on an empty stomach in the morning are sufficient. There is no need to take more quantity than this.
