This ghee is so rare and effective that its price in the market is around Rs 10 thousand per kg. People have been using it for centuries, especially to get rid of extreme cold or stiffness in the body.
A treasure trove of qualities along with being precious.
Sheep ghee is available in very less quantity compared to normal ghee, hence its price is quite high. According to Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, it contains many nutrients which increase the immunity of the body. This ghee proves to be very useful for those who are troubled by chronic cough, frequent cold or lung problems. Doctors say that a normal person can consume half to one teaspoon of ghee. But keep in mind, high BP and diabetes patients should not take it without doctor’s advice.
If you are suffering from problems like knee pain, back pain or arthritis, then sheep ghee is no less than a medicine for you. Ayurveda says that massaging with this ghee reduces the pain between the bones. Its massage is also considered very effective in sciatica and nerve weakness. Since ancient times, there has been a tradition of massaging with sheep’s ghee in case of injury, sprain or swelling in any part of the body. Animal farmers still have this treasure
Ramchandra, an experienced cattle rearer of Rampur, says that sheep rearing has been going on since the time of his grandfather.
