It is known to have such a name because of its special green nature. Actually this idli is served on jackfruit leaves. Although Konashima’s own food, they can now be found in the city if desired. They are beneficial not only for taste but also for health.

In the Konasima Ravulapalem area, the idli mixture is poured inside jackfruit leaves and served hot. It is believed that by making idli in this way, all the nutrients of jackfruit leaves are transferred to the idli. As a result it becomes more healthy. But not just this special idli. Ragi Idlis are also available in Konasima Tiffin. Idli is also made by mixing carrot with normal idli. Apart from these, two types of chutney and sambar have also been arranged for the customers, said the restaurant authority.

People are coming from far away because of that taste. This special idli is available here from 7 am to 10 am. After that, when you reach there, you have to eat food like simple puri, uli gore, dhosa.
