Under 15 category cricket match was held in Malda. A three-day cricket match will be held at the Malda DSA ground with cricket players from three districts of Howrah, Hooghly and Cooch Behar. Where the man of the match players will be chosen as the best player for the CAB Bengal team.

Maldah DSA member Debbrat Saha said, “Players are being selected through games in each district. Former Bengal cricketer Indra Bhushan Roy, current coach of Under-19 Bengal team Saurasish Lahiri were present as player selectors in the game. Men of the match players and good players are selected for the Bengal team.”

The three-day long game was officially inaugurated on this day. The game was held in the presence of player selectors and district athletes. Municipal Chairman Krishnendu Narayan Chowdhury said, “Such an initiative of CAB is really commendable. As a result, talented players from remote areas will get a chance to go to good places. The games are being played at different places in the district. CAB observers have come as player selectors.”
