Trump was not at home.

A major and deadly attempt to breach the security of US President Donald Trump’s Florida-based private resort ‘Mar-a-Lago’ has been foiled by security forces. At around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, a young man illegally entered the secure perimeter of Mar-a-Lago, after which he was killed in retaliation by the Secret Service and local police. After Secret Service agents warned the young man to lay down his weapon, he put down the can but pointed his gun directly at the officers. Before he could pull the trigger, a deputy from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office killed him on the spot.

Donald Trump is safe
It is a matter of relief that Donald Trump was not present in Florida at the time of the incident. Who was the attacker?
According to preliminary investigation, the killed accused is white and his age is said to be around 20 years. Authorities have not yet released his identity as his family members are yet to be informed. The investigating agencies are now finding out whether this young man was associated with any extremist group or whether he had planned this attack alone.

growing security concerns
This is not the first incident of attack on Trump or breach in his security. On the 4th of this month, Ryan Routh (59) was sentenced to life imprisonment for conspiring to assassinate Trump.
