On this subject, Chandauli’s doctor Dr. Riddhi Pandey while talking to Local 18 explained many scientific benefits of clapping. According to Dr. Pandey, there are many benefits of clapping. This is not just said, but there is a scientific basis behind it. There are more than 340 acupressure points in our hands. When we clap, more than 30 of these pressure points become active simultaneously. These pressure points are directly related to vital organs of the body like heart, lungs and kidneys. When you clap, the pressure on the palms accelerates blood circulation. Due to this, the dirt accumulated in the arteries gradually starts getting cleared and helps the heart to function better.

Dr. Pandey says that clapping also helps in keeping blood pressure balanced. By clapping regularly for 15 to 20 minutes, the risk of heart related problems can be reduced. Clapping is not only beneficial for physical health but also for mental health. Clapping releases ‘happy hormones’ like dopamine, which reduces stress and anxiety. This stabilizes the mental state and the person feels more positive.

Dr. Riddhi Pandey says that clapping also improves digestion. Digestion improves by activating the pressure points of the palms. The energy level in the body increases. If people make a habit of clapping for 15-20 minutes at any time during the day, they can get many benefits related to heart health, stress management and digestion.
