Rinku Singh’s father has been admitted to Noida hospital due to stage 4 liver cancer, let us know whether he will recover or not?

Rinku Singh Father News: Team India’s explosive batsman Rinku Singh had to leave the T-20 World Cup and return to the country. His father Khanchandra Singh has been admitted to a private hospital in Noida due to liver cancer. Singh has been diagnosed with stage-4 cancer. Besides, he has also been put on ventilator support due to some more serious problems. Now the possibility of Rinku Singh returning to the field in the World Cup matches depends on whether his father will be able to recover from this disease. What are the chances of surviving liver cancer that has reached stage 4? let’s talk about this Dr. Pragya Shukla, Head of Clinical Oncology at Delhi State Cancer Institute Know from…

Hindi.News18.com In a conversation with Dr. Pragya Shukla says that it is not yet clear about Rinku Singh’s father’s stage-4 liver cancer, whether it is a metastases disease, i.e. has it come to the liver from some other place in the body or has the cancer originated inside the liver itself? That is, it is important to know what is the primary source of this cancer, but it is generally seen that the chances of recovery of patients who have reached the fourth stage of liver cancer are very less. Along with this, it is being told that Khanchandra Singh is on ventilator support, so this gives rise to the possibility that not only liver cancer but his other organs are also not functioning properly. Therefore, this is a critical condition and in this situation, there is less hope for the patient’s recovery.

Dr. Pragya Shukla, Head of Clinical Oncology, Delhi State Cancer Institute.

Dr. Shukla further explains that after identifying the primary source of liver cancer patients, it is also seen how much of their liver is affected. If liver involvement is less then it is cured by treatment through stereotactic body radiation therapy. If there are cancer cells in a small part of the liver, then that part of the liver can be removed by doing liver resection, but this is possible only if the functioning of your liver is not very badly affected and only a small part of the liver is involved. It is important to understand that the condition is not the same in every stage-4 liver cancer. It depends on whether the cancer has come directly to the liver or the cancer has occurred somewhere else in the body and then from there the cancer cells have reached the liver.

At which stage is liver cancer cured?
Dr. says that whenever any type of cancer, not just liver, is detected early, the chances of its cure are higher. If cancer is caught in the first or second stage, it is cured. Talking about liver cancer, how much part of the liver is affected also depends on what is its primary source.

What are the symptoms of liver cancer?
Dr. Shukla tells that if liver is also involved in cancer then some common symptoms appear.

. develop jaundice
. loss of appetite
. lose weight
. having fever
. being very tired
. itching

The doctor further says that liver cancer occurs in two ways. First, the source of that cancer is somewhere else in the body, that is, it can be breast cancer, lung cancer, oral cancer etc. and then after that the cancer cells reach the liver. This is called metastatic cancer. Secondly, cancer is developing in the liver itself. Like hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangio carcinoma etc. However, much better medicines and therapy have come for all these cancers and after treatment in the initial stages, people live for ten years.
