Putting oil in the navel is not just a grandmother’s remedy, but a natural remedy for the body and skin. Mustard oil gives a warming effect to the body. In cold weather, a light massage can provide relief to the stomach. Some people get relief in gas and bloating, but it depends on the nature of the person. Put 2-3 drops of oil in the navel and massage it gently in a clockwise direction.

Neem has antibacterial properties and coconut oil moisturizes the skin. If someone has skin problems or acne, then these oils can be helpful in maintaining coolness of the body. Coconut oil is considered more gentle for those with sensitive skin.
