Sitamarhi. Sitamarhi’s local beautician Rekha Kumari says that instead of expensive cosmetic products for skin care, home and natural remedies are safer and more effective. According to him, the face pack prepared by mixing rice flour, honey and raw milk deeply nourishes the skin. This mixture proves to be very effective in removing the dirt, dust and dead skin accumulated on the skin due to changing weather and pollution. With regular use the natural glow returns to the skin and the face looks clean and fresh.
Rekha Kumari explains that rice flour acts like a natural scrub, which helps in removing the dead cells accumulated on the upper layer of the skin. Honey has anti-bacterial and moisturizing properties, which protect the skin from infection and maintain moisture. The lactic acid present in raw milk does mild exfoliation, which improves the complexion. The mixture of these three is helpful in keeping the skin clean, soft and healthy.
Correct method of application and precautions
To prepare this face pack, make a thick paste by mixing two spoons of rice flour, one spoon of honey and raw milk as per requirement. Apply it evenly on clean and washed face. After about 15 minutes, when it dries slightly, wash it with water while massaging in circular motion with your fingers. It can be used two to three times a week for better results. Keep in mind that the face should be clean before applying and if the skin is very sensitive then do a patch test first.
Clear effect will be visible with regular use
According to Rekha Kumari, with regular use of this home remedy, the spots and blemishes gradually become lighter and the complexion of the skin improves. For those with oily skin, it is helpful in controlling excess oil, while dry skin gets rich moisture from milk. Within a few weeks, the natural glow and soft texture of the skin becomes visible, which makes the face look healthy and attractive.
