After being stuck in the city for ten days, a chartered flight was scheduled to leave on Tuesday, but it was cancelled. A chartered flight scheduled to carry the West Indies and South Africa cricket teams from Kolkata was canceled due to airspace clearance issues. Now both these groups are stuck in the city. As a result, there was uncertainty about the return home of these two groups. Three West Indies cricketers tried to go on their own initiative but it was not possible. They returned to the hotel in Kolkata. Only team coach Darren Sammy has left the city of Kolkata on his own initiative.
