Do not let there be lack of water in the body
There should be no shortage of water in the body of children during the summer season. It is important to keep giving water to children at regular intervals. According to doctors, water should be given according to the weight of the child. For example, if the child’s weight is about 10 kg, then he must get about 500 ml of water throughout the day. Apart from this, giving ORS solution and salt-sugar solution from time to time is also beneficial.

Protection from heat wave is also important
He said that strong sunlight and heat wave can prove dangerous for children. During this period, children may face problems like heat stroke, nose bleeding, sudden onset of diarrhea or fever. Therefore, children should not be taken out in the sun during the afternoon and they should be kept safe indoors. It is important to give mother’s milk regularly to infants up to six months of age.
