Benefits of the Shatavari Plant: Many medicinal plants are found in nature, among which Shatavari is considered very important in Ayurveda. According to Dr. Abhishek Kumar Mishra, physician of Deendayal Research Institute, calcium, iron and vitamins A, C and E are found in abundance in asparagus, which help in increasing the immunity of the body. He told that asparagus is useful in hormonal balance of women, problems related to menstruation and in removing weakness after delivery. Whereas in men, it is considered beneficial in strengthening the digestive system, mental stress and sexual weakness. Asparagus can be consumed in the form of powder, decoction or capsules. Making powder of its root and taking one to one and a half grams with milk or honey in the morning and evening is beneficial, but it is important to take expert advice before consuming it.
