Jaunpur. As soon as the summer season begins, the effects of strong sunlight and rising temperatures become clearly visible on people’s health and skin. Exposing yourself to the sun, especially during the afternoon, can cause great harm to your facial skin. In such a situation, even a little carelessness can scorch the face and cause many types of skin related problems. Dr. Kusum Pandey, an Ayurvedic physician from Jaunpur, tells Local 18 that going out in the hot sun without caution can cause problems like sunburn, freckles, rashes and blackness on the skin. The strong rays of the sun damage the upper layer of the skin, due to which the face appears lifeless and dry.
According to Dr. Kusum, if someone has to go out in the sun for important work, then some precautions must be taken. First of all, use an umbrella, cap or scarf to protect the head and face from direct sunlight. Apart from this, applying light moisturizer or sunscreen on the face before going out in the sun is also very beneficial.

Dr. Kusum says that it is important to keep the body cool and hydrated from inside during summer. For this, people should drink more and more water. Lemon water, coconut water, buttermilk and fresh fruits should be consumed. Due to this there is no shortage of water in the body and the skin also remains healthy. Home remedies for skin care are also very beneficial. Applying aloe vera gel, rose water or cucumber juice on the face provides coolness to the skin. Provides relief from the effects of sunlight.
Dr. Kusum Pandey says that the sun is at its strongest from 12 noon to 3 pm, so one should avoid going out at this time. If absolutely necessary, go out only with utmost caution. A paste of curd and gram flour is also beneficial for the face.
