Rampur. Dr. Mohammad Iqbal, Ayush Medical Officer, Rampur, says that eating late at night and sleeping late is harmful for the body. If people eat dinner at least 3 hours before sleeping, then both the heart and blood sugar can be kept balanced.

Eating late at night puts pressure on digestion and heart.
Dr. Iqbal explains that if you eat food late at night, the body has to work harder for digestion. Due to the digestive system being active during sleep, there is additional pressure on the heart. By eating food early, the food gets easily digested and the body gets complete rest.

Eating at the right time keeps blood sugar balanced
Eating late at night does not enable the body to use its energy properly, due to which it starts getting stored as fat. This increases the risk of obesity, diabetes and heart diseases. Whereas by eating food on time, the body uses energy properly.

eat light and in small quantities
Dr. Iqbal advises that dinner should be light and in small quantities. Too much fried or heavy food takes time to digest, causes heaviness in the stomach, gas and acidity problems and also affects sleep.

There should be a gap of at least 3 hours between eating and sleeping
If you sleep immediately after eating food, digestion does not take place and stomach problems increase. It is important to keep a gap of at least 3 hours between eating and sleeping. This habit prevents accumulation of unnecessary fat in the body and keeps the heart healthy.

Simple Habits, Long Health
According to Dr. Iqbal, by eating light food at the right time, sleeping on time and adopting a balanced daily routine, the heart and body can be kept healthy for a long time even without any medicine. This is an easy method to be adopted by people of every age.
