GT already had a tough evening as they lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by five wickets in the IPL final at the Narendra Modi Stadium. The past few days have been tough for the Titans. Bad weather across northwest India delayed their arrival in Ahmedabad before the finals. GT’s chartered flight was delayed by about three hours due to heavy rain and the team finally reached Ahmedabad late on Saturday night.

Due to this delay, the photo shoot of the captains scheduled with Shubman Gill and Rajat Patidar had to be postponed. The Titans haven’t even had time to catch their breath in the last five days. On 26 May, they lost Qualifier 1 to RCB at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala. The next day they traveled to Chandigarh and faced Rajasthan Royals in Qualifier 2 at the New PCA International Stadium in Mullanpur on 29 May.
