He was supposed to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL. Although Sri Lankan cricketer Nuwan Thushara (Nuwan Thushara) eventually withdrew from the legal battle.
RCB has not yet announced the name of a replacement for the 31-year-old cricketer. In the case filed in the court, Thusara said that he wants to retire from international cricket. However, he will not be considered for team selection if he does not meet the fitness criteria set by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board.
Thusara was not cleared to play in the IPL as he did not meet the fitness criteria. However, Thusara said, he is still as fit as he was before.
