He was supposed to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in IPL. Although Sri Lankan cricketer Nuwan Thushara (Nuwan Thushara) eventually withdrew from the legal battle.

RCB has not yet announced the name of a replacement for the 31-year-old cricketer. Meanwhile, the Sri Lankan cricketer told the Colombo District Court that he no longer wants to take this case forward, because most of the IPL games have already been played. It is not only here, it is known that Thusara has also sought a written apology from the Sri Lanka Cricket Board. Thusara also said in that letter that he wants to withdraw the case.

In the case filed in the court, Thusara said that he wants to retire from international cricket. Although the case has been dropped, it is not yet clear whether he is changing his decision to retire or not. However, he will not be considered for team selection if he does not meet the fitness criteria set by the Sri Lanka Cricket Board.

Thusara was not cleared to play in the IPL as he did not meet the fitness criteria. However, Thusara said, he is still as fit as he was before.
