Bangalore: Royal Challengers Bangalore became the IPL Champions once again in a magical night at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad over the weekend. With this, RCB won the IPL title for the second time as only the second team. But then RCB’s average Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar (DK Shivakumar) made an explosive comment. What did Shivakumar open his mouth about?
In fact, being the last IPL champion, this year’s IPL final was supposed to be held at RCB’s home ground, Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium. However, the final was once again held at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad instead of Chinnaswamy Stadium. This is why the future Chief Minister of Karnataka has become the chief minister.
Sivakumar told reporters, ‘There was no wrongdoing with RCB. The injustice happened to the youth of Bengaluru and Karnataka. The IPL final was supposed to be held here. But it was held in Ahmedabad. We all forgot what happened last time and started anew.’
But why was the final postponed even though the group stage matches were held in Bengaluru? In this regard, BCCI secretary Debjit Saikia said last month that the Karnataka State Cricket Association had sought more complimentary tickets for the IPL final than the allocation. Claiming that it was not possible to accept their demand, BCCI decided to hold the final match in Ahmedabad instead of Bangalore.
However, RCB won the IPL title twice in Ahmedabad. RCB won the toss and fielded first. Gujarat Titans make 155/8. Washington Sundar scored the maximum 50 runs. Despite the presence of experienced Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Josh Hazlewood in the team, Rashik Salam Dar took the maximum three wickets overtaking them.

In response, RCB achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 18 overs. Virat played the highest unbeaten innings of 75 runs for the team Kohli. The winning shot also came from his bat. Rashid Khan tried to bring the Titans back into the match with a small run capital, but the runs were so low and the Titans bowlers made such a start that RCB could not be stopped.
