Many are hoping that 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi will soon play for the senior team in the jersey of the national team. Meanwhile, Krishnamachari Srikanth opened up about the possibility of playing a Test in Vaibhav.

Referring to the flood of four-sixes seen in Suryavanshi’s bat, the left-handed teenage batsman says, ‘These days you need such kind of cricketer in the team. People turn on TV just to watch Suryavanshi. I also turn on the TV to watch Suryavanshi. He has created such an attraction around him, he is truly amazing.’

Vaibhav is currently playing for the Indian ‘A’ team. His on-field behavior in the match against Sri Lanka has also been questioned. “Don’t worry about what people say, play your natural game,” says the former head of the selection committee. He has incredible shooting ability, great eyes and great reflexes. I think the boy is great for the future of India.’
