Patna: After Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Bihar is going to give another gift to Indian cricket. 15 years old Vaibhav Suryavanshi IPL 2026 hit the headlines with his explosive batting. This time another rising player from Bihar grabbed everyone’s attention with his performance. Akshara played an innings in the Bihar Cricket Association U-19 ODI Trophy, which will be remembered for a long time. By scoring 306 runs in just 126 balls, the bowlers of the opposing team were completely spoiled.
A historic innings studded with 55 fours and 8 sixes
Akshara Gupta showed an aggressive mood from the start in the match played at Bhagalpur’s Sandys Compound Stadium on June 18. Stepping out to open for Team-A, the up-and-coming batsman started scoring runs from the very first ball. Akshara completed his half century in just 16 balls. He then scored a century off just 34 balls. Even after the century, his bat did not stop and continued to play big shots. Akshara scored 306 runs in his memorable innings of 126 balls. The team put up a huge score of 450 runs
Apart from Akshara’s triple century, Saloni Kumari also made an important contribution. He played an innings of 57 runs, helping the team to a mammoth score of 450 runs in the allotted overs. Chasing such a big target, Team-C was under pressure from the start. The batsmen failed to build big partnerships and kept falling wickets at regular intervals.
A one-sided win by 329 runs
Team-C’s batting completely collapsed in front of a huge target. The entire team was all out for just 121 runs in 21.3 overs. Thus Team A won the match by a huge margin of 329 runs.
After the match, Akshara said that she got her inspiration to play cricket from her grandfather. Watching his grandfather play also developed his interest in the game and later took cricket seriously with the help of his family.
Increased hope for the future
This explosive innings of 306 runs brought Akshara Gupta into the limelight. Cricket experts see him as a potential star of the future given his batting prowess and hunger to score big at a young age.
