World Cancer Day 2026: On hearing the name of cancer, people’s soul starts trembling, because it is the most deadly disease. Seminars, campaigns, health checkup camps and awareness programs are organized on this day.

The official theme of World Cancer Day 2026 is United by Unique. This theme was chosen by the global health and cancer control community, with the aim of embracing and connecting the different journeys, needs and experiences of every person affected by cancer. United by Unique simply means that every person’s story of fighting cancer is different, but we are all united for a common goal. Through this theme, the message is also given that cancer is not just a disease. It is a mixture of people’s life, social and emotional experiences. Patients, caregivers, physicians, researchers, and families around the world are working together toward this common goal, so that each person can receive the support that best suits their needs.
