Papaya and its leaves have so much power that they help in balancing all three doshas of the body and are also helpful in improving digestion.
Papaya is a fruit which is easily available in every season and the papain enzyme found in it is beneficial for the stomach and intestines. It plays an important role in improving digestion, keeping the body pure and absorption of nutrients. Not only papaya but also papaya leaves and seeds are beneficial and are used as medicine in Ayurveda. The leaves and seeds taste slightly bitter but work like medicine.
If you are struggling with skin related problems then both consumption and paste of papaya are beneficial for the skin. For this, mix honey in papaya pulp and apply it on the face. It helps in tightening the skin and getting rid of blemishes. Consuming and applying it gives a different glow to the face. Along with this, if hair is falling rapidly then papaya seed paste helps in strengthening the hair and also provides relief from dryness. It would be good to apply paste on hair once a week.
