In the morning, a handful of lightly roasted peanuts are mixed in soaked gram. There is no need to remove the peel of peanuts. After this a little mustard oil is added to it. Mustard oil is used in villages just as many people use olive oil in cities.

Then lemon juice, black salt, chaat masala, finely chopped onion, tomato and cucumber are added and mixed well. This delicious and nutritious breakfast is ready in a few minutes.

According to Ayurveda expert doctor Dr. RP Parouha, having breakfast of gram and peanuts in the morning is very beneficial for health. A good amount of fiber is found in both gram and peanuts, due to which the stomach remains full for a long time and one does not feel hungry quickly. Apart from this, it is also rich in protein and iron, which gives energy to the body and helps in strengthening the muscles.

Weight also remains balanced
Dr. Parouha explains that this breakfast is low in calories and bad fats, while good fats and essential nutrients are present in sufficient quantity. If it is eaten regularly, the body remains strong and the weight also remains balanced. This is the reason why the rural people of Vindhya region consider it as their local protein breakfast.
