Neither I nor Pankaj Roy’s family deserved this disrespect. I have filed a defamation case of 10 crore against that CAB worker. The Hon’ble Court also passed an interim order. The post has been ordered to be deleted. That worker has also been given a show cause.’
Pranab further alleged that the CAB did not give the minutes of the Apex Council meeting despite repeated requests. He said, ‘After the Apex Council meeting, it is necessary to upload its minutes on the CAB website. But they don’t. I asked for the minutes. But not given. Why is there so much opacity in the management of CAB?’ The entire field is waiting to see what CAB responds to this.
Election of Joint Secretary
There were allegations that Madan Ghosh, the CAB’s joint secretary, is sitting on the post even after crossing the age of 70. Finally, CAB took the initiative to elect the post of joint secretary. A meeting of the Apex Council has been called for Friday, June 19, at 7 p.m. There the Special General Meeting (SGM) will be scheduled for the election of the Joint Secretary. Also, in the letter given to the members, CAB admitted that Madan Ghosh, who is past seventy, has lost his eligibility for the post of joint secretary.
