Mullanpur: Indian team won the toss and batted first. In the first innings of the only Test against Afghanistan, captain Shubman Gill and vice-captain KL Rahul, along with half-centuries from three left-handed batsmen Sai Sudarshan, Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar, announced the innings by scoring 564 runs.
