Finally relief for Mumbai Indians fans. Yashpreet Bumrah finally got his first success in the current IPL. He dismissed Sai Sudarshan on the very first ball of the Gujarat Titans innings. Monday was the sixth match of Mumbai Indians in the current IPL. Bumrah got his first success in that match. Bumrah had to wait 325 days to get this wicket. He took a wicket in IPL after 146 balls.

Wicket after 146 balls!

Yashprit Bumrah’s wicket drought has been going on since last season’s IPL. He took his last wicket in the IPL in last season’s eliminator match against Gujarat Titans. Bumrah took his wicket in the fourth ball of the third over of his spell in that eliminator match. Bumrah did not get another wicket in the last 8 balls of that match. On the other hand, this season, Bumrah got his first success after scoring 138 balls. Thus he got a wicket in IPL after 146 balls.

Had to wait 325 days

Yashpreet Bumrah– had to wait 325 days for his next wicket in the Indian Premier League. When he took a wicket in last season’s eliminator against Gujarat Titans, the day was May 30. 325 days later he took the next wicket on 20 April.

Bumrah was waiting for a wicket in five matches in the current IPL and dismissed Sai Sudarshan on the first ball of the sixth match. Bumrah has so far taken 184 wickets in his 151-match IPL career. Bumrah IPLHe is the fifth highest wicket taker. He left behind Dwayne Bravo.
