New Delhi: The final of IPL (IPL 2026) ended last Sunday. Former World Cup-winning Australian captain Michael Clarke was part of the broadcast team for that final. The same clerk met with an accident on his way back after his duty in IPL, he was injured. What exactly is the case?

IPL Clarke was scheduled to catch a flight back home after finishing her work on the finals. He was resting on the passenger seat of the car on the way to the airport. He fell asleep. But when he wakes up with a big shock, that too with a lorry loaded with goods. Clarke himself told about this terrible experience in that conflict. His car hit the back of a truck.

Clarke recently told a podcast, ‘I fell asleep, after the match, I was traveling in the car. I wasn’t driving. But when I opened my eyes, I saw half of my car under the truck. My driver said that the brake light of that truck was not on, so without realizing it, it went straight and hit our car behind the truck. Amid’s car went under the truck.

Clark himself suffered only a few scratches on his body, not much damage. But Clark expressed concern for the driver of his car. The former Oji captain also said that the driver was very scared. ‘I’ve had nothing but mild bruising. But I’m pretty sure my driver got a slight tear on his leg. I was very worried because he was very scared. The car is not his, he drives it for a company.’ said Clark. He requested that the driver be treated immediately, the clerk said.

However, after this incident, the people there quickly came forward for help, said Clark. Apart from this, BCCI also ensured that he and the driver did not suffer any physical harm and that they received proper treatment, for which Clark thanked all the Indians. However, despite this situation, Clarke managed to reach the airport in another car and boarded the flight home.
