The pictures and video of Shoaib Akhtar’s grandfather Shahid Akhtar’s funeral released by the Pakistan Muslim League (PMML) have gone viral. PMML is actually a shadow organization of Lashkar. PMML chief Inam-ur-Rehman Kambodh is seen in the picture in Islamabad. PMML General Secretary Abdullah Tur, PMML Zonal General Secretary Hafiz Umar, Khidmat Committee Chairman Amjad Bhatti and others were also seen. They are seen praying for the peace of the soul of the deceased.
Not only that, Lashkar militant Saifullah Kasuri, the mastermind behind the 2025 Pahelgaon terror attack, was also seen at the funeral. Shahid was buried at H-8 graveyard in Islamabad. It is known that everyone was present there. The United Nations has already declared Hafiz a terrorist. PMML was established as a shadow organization of Lashkar to avoid sanctions. They also participated in Pakistan elections in 2024. Shoaib retired from cricket in 2011. Also worked as a commentator in IPL.

Shahid died of heart attack three days ago. Shoaib sealed the news of his grandfather’s death on social media. He wrote, ‘It is with great sadness that my dear grandfather Shahid Akhtar has gone back to God. The time and place of Namaz-e-Janaza will be announced in the morning’. And after that the pictures and video of the funeral went viral.
Shoaib has not yet commented on the presence of members of Lashkar’s shadow organization at his grandfather’s funeral. But the issue is considered very important for India. Because Pakistan gives shelter to militants, the militants roam freely, it was proved once again. India has repeatedly raised this issue in the international arena. Once again, the evidence in his favor came out in hand.
Saifullah, who was seen at Shoaib’s grandfather’s funeral, is Lashkar’s deputy chief. He is said to be the mastermind behind the killing of innocent tourists in Pahalgaon, Jammu and Kashmir on April 22, 2025. In February this year, a video surfaced in which he was seen publicly threatening India. He declared that there will be no enemy in water, land or sky. He also accused India of ‘water terrorism’ over the Indus Water Treaty.
