Mumbai: Kolkata Knight Riders (Kolkata Knight Riders) discount and perform. This has become a custom. A few days back, one-time KKR player Shakib Hussain made a dream debut for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Shakib took four wickets for 24 runs in the first IPL match of his career. This time, apart from KKR, another star cricketer Quinton de Kock (Quinton de Kock) caught the eye.
Rohit Sharma has a muscle injury. Due to that injury, Quinton de Kock was allowed to play for Mumbai Indians against Punjab Kings (MI vs PBKS) on Thursday, April 16. This is his first match in the current IPL. And the Protea keeper-batter took the chance in the first match. Own in this match against Punjab Kings IPL De Kock hit his third career century. He completed the century in just 53 balls.
De Cock was batting aggressively from the beginning of the day. He completed his fifty in just 28 balls. De Cock took another 25 balls to score the next 50 runs. Finally his innings stopped at 112 runs off 60 balls. Due to De Cock’s innings, Mumbai batted first in this match and got 195 runs for six wickets on the board.
What a player, what a knock, and what a way to start the season! 💯
Quinton de Kock, take a bow for a truly special Wankhede hundred! 👏

But this de Kock was part of KKR last year. Knight Bahini took him to the team for 3.6 crore rupees. But despite scoring 97 runs in one match, de Cock scored just 55 runs in the remaining seven innings. Scored runs for the Knights at a strike rate of just 129.91 and an average of 21.71. Once again this season, the Knights are pressing for the opening slot. Finn Allen has played five matches so far, but failed to score big runs for KKR. After he was released there, he joined Mumbai Indians for just one crore and scored a hundred in the first match. Undoubtedly seeing these KKR Fans may be biting their hands now.
