Mumbai: The condition of Mumbai Indians is quite miserable this season. Paltans have lost five of their last six matches. However, Mumbai Indians scored big runs in the first innings against Sunrisers Hyderabad (MI vs SRH). Ryan Rickelton scored an impeccable century for the record champions and Mumbai scored 243 runs for five wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bat first. A new opening pair was named for the Paltans in this match. Will Jacks opened with Rickelton. At the end of the power play, the score stood at 78 without a wicket. But just when it seemed that Jacks would hit a half-century on the field, Nitish Kumar Reddy sent him back to the dressing room. He collected 46 runs off 22 balls.
Suryakumar Yadav’s disappointing season continues today as he drops three. He returned to the dressing room after scoring only five runs. But Rickelton stayed at the crease.
