Hyderabad: One team entered the field after winning five matches, another team won two matches in a row. IPL(IPL 2026) In the first match of ‘Super Sunday’, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders(SRH vs KKR) was expected to be a tight fight. Although that fight was seen in the first innings of the match, that fight was not seen in the second innings. Chasing 166 with 10 balls to spare, Knight Camp won the match with seven wickets in hand.

Sunrisers’ top order batsmen started in a destructive mood, but KKR’s spinners brought the team back into the match. In the beginning, Abhishek Sharma was dismissed by Karthik Tyagi for 15 runs to give KKR success. But then Ishan Kishan and Travis Head took control of the innings. Head scored a fifty off 22 balls. Sunrisers crossed the hundred mark in nine overs. However, after returning Varun Head for 61 runs, Sunrisers’ batting started collapsing. ‘Orange Army’ lost the last nine wickets by just 60 runs. Varun Chakraborty took three wickets. Sunil Narain Took two wickets, took one wicket favorable verdict. Karthik Tyagi also took two wickets. All in all a concerted bowling effort saw the Knights camp manage to restrict Sunrisers to a few runs.

Then back to bat KKR’s opener Finn Allen started the innings devastatingly and gave the team a little lead in the match. Even though he was dismissed for 29 runs, by then KKR had scored 49 runs in four overs. Angakrish Raghuvanshi ensured that the Knights’ run rate did not decrease. He formed a very mature partnership with skipper Rahane. Big shots also come from the bat when necessary, but the most important thing is that they move the scoreboard forward little by little with one or two runs. Their half-century partnership paved the way for the Knights’ victory.

Rahane narrowly missed out on a half-century, but Raghuvanshi scored his third half-century of the season. Rahane scored 43 runs, Angakrish returned to Sajghar with 59 runs. Their batting innings KKRRinku Singh gave the finishing touch after leading the match. He remained unbeaten on 22 runs from 11 balls. Knight camp completed the hat-trick of wins.
