New Delhi: Vaibhav Sooryavanshi recently made history by getting a chance in the Indian national team. His talent is unquestionable. The entire cricketing world has already seen the signs of that talent. As if one Suryavanshi was not enough, already another Suryavanshi also started attracting attention.
We are talking about Vaibhav’s brother, 10-year-old Ashirbad Suryavanshi. Tarun Turki scored a blistering century for the local academy in Samsipur district of Bihar. Impressed with his brother’s innings, Vaibhav shared the scorecard of Ashirbad’s century on his social media. Much like his grandfather, the brother also stormed with the bat for the Tajpur Cricket Academy. Ashirbad played an innings of 103 runs off just 87 balls with 20 fours and a six.
But despite Aashirvad batting well, he has not scored big runs in the tour of Sri Lanka so far for the Indian ‘A’ team. In the last match against Afghanistan, Vaibhav was batting aggressively from the start, opening for India. One after another boundary was coming from his bat in a characteristic manner. But as the match wore on, the Afghan bowlers found the line and length and were somewhat capable of trying to contain the momentum. Finally, on the threshold of half-century, Vaibhav had to return to Sajghar for 44 runs. The 15-year-old Turk played a dominant innings at a strike rate of 200, but could not convert it into big runs.

Even in the first match of the series, Vaibhav did not get many runs. He played an innings of 14 runs in the first match against Sri Lanka. He gets in trouble while handling the swing of the ball.
However, this talent has already got a chance in the national team. All eight to eighty were impressed by the talent of the young Turk. But Kapil Dev has warned everyone, Indian teamEven if you get a chance, you should not expect too much from Vaibhav right now. He said, ‘How attentive he is, he can give the answer himself. But for me he is a special talent. There is nothing wrong with having expectations of young players, but it would be wrong to expect too much at this stage.’
