Established in 1975, the iconic restaurant Peter Cat has been ranked 17th out of 150 legendary restaurants worldwide. The signature dish of this restaurant is Chello Kebab.
The list, released on Friday (June 23), features restaurants from around the world. From family-run establishments to Michelin-starred restaurants are also included. ‘These are not just places to eat’ reads Taste Atlas’ listings at the beginning. Rather, they have their own heritage, comparable to the world’s most famous architecture. To omit any of these landmarks is to deny each city its own history and flavor’.
Apart from Peter Cat, 6 restaurants in India feature in this list. Paragon Restaurant in Kozhikode was ranked 11th, followed by Tunde Kababi (Lucknow) at 12th. Amrik Sukhdev Dhaba (Haryana) ranked 23rd, Mavali Tiffin Room (Bangalore) ranked 39th. And Karim’s (Delhi) ranks 87th and Ram Ashray (Mumbai) ranks 112th.
